Estimate Request Form
Facilities Services is pleased to provide the University community with a convenient
means of requesting a preliminary estimate for construction work. After determining a
need for an estimate, please submit your request to the Facilities Services Department.
If you have any questions, please call 775-784-6514.
An estimate is a preliminary evaluation of the probable project costs. It is provided to
assist the department in arranging project funding. It is not a guarantee of project
costs, which could be more or less than this estimate. Estimates typically include all
design fees, construction materials, and labor for the entire project. If you would like
to continue the estimate request process, fill out an estimate request form below and
the Facilities Services Department will contact you regarding your estimate within two
weeks of submittal of this request.
As the fiscal year end draws nearer, Facilities Service’s ability to execute projects
with expiring money becomes more difficult. Please note, each estimate request will
be reviewed to determine the complexity of the request, current workload, timeframe
desired and types of funds. It may be that a requested project cannot be executed
between now and the end of the fiscal year. You will be notified if this is the case.
Please also note that an Internal Purchase Order (IPO) to fund a project with expiring
funds cannot be accepted after April 24, 2015.
